Karen Alves is the Vice President of Development at BCT Development, where she leads all aspects of the development process for residential projects, including due diligence, entitlements, permitting, and project execution. With over two decades of experience in real estate development, Karen has held senior roles at City Ventures, MBK Homes, and Bixby Land Company, overseeing multi-family, mixed-use, and commercial projects across Southern California. Karen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Organizational Leadership from Brandman University and is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and the Women’s Housing Leadership Group.
